This workshop will introduce participants to the available corpora available through the BYU collection (https://www.english-corpora.org/). I will also show how to do a variety of searches with a focus on the Corpus of Contemporary American English. Applications to teaching and research will also will be provided.  

An upgraded subscription for the corpora, usually $30 for a year, is being offered free with this workshop. You will need to email Adam Pfau (pfauadam@msu.edu) by Wednesday October 14th to be signed up for a free upgraded account to participate in the workshop.
